Long stay airport parking

Long stay parking is for holidays and longer trips rather than a few hours at short-stay. Most WeCompare quotes are already stay-length based: you pay for the nights between drop-off and return.

For a week or more, Park & Ride is usually the value type. Official on-airport long-stay is closer. Meet & Greet stays convenient at either end of a long holiday.

Check overstay rules: if your inbound flight is delayed, some products charge extra days unless late-return cover is included.

Flexible bookings can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of making the booking. After that, they may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled drop-off time, subject to a £10 administration fee. Cancellations and amendments are only permitted for bookings made at least 48 hours before the scheduled drop-off time. Bookings made less than 48 hours before drop-off are not eligible for cancellation or amendment. Non-flexible bookings are strictly non-refundable and cannot be cancelled or amended. The initial 24-hour free-cancellation period does not apply to non-flexible bookings. Amendments are permitted only for eligible flexible bookings, subject to the applicable booking conditions and the minimum 48-hour booking notice requirement. Check the terms of the parking product you select before you complete the booking.

What counts as long stay?

There is no single airport definition. In practice it means prepaid parking for a holiday or multi-day trip rather than hourly short-stay.

Does a longer stay always lower the daily rate?

Often, but not always. Search the real dates. Peak school holidays can still be expensive even on a 14-night stay.
