§ 01Who we are

WeCompare (“WeCompare”, “we”, “us”) is a comparison and booking service for UK airport parking and related travel products. WeCompare is a trading name of We Compare Parking Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17291984, registered office 1a Electric Parade, Seven Kings Road, Ilford, England, IG3 8BY.

We do not own or run any car park. Every parking product listed is provided by an independent operator (“the provider”) — park & ride, meet & greet or on-airport companies we have vetted and contracted with. When you book, your contract for the parking itself is with the provider. Our role is to show accurate, comparable pricing and to handle the booking and payment on the provider’s behalf.

Hotels, flights, car hire and lounges are covered by a separate document — see the hotels, flights and travel services terms.

§ 02Using the site

We work with providers to keep pricing, availability and product details current, and cannot guarantee the site is error-free at every moment. Availability changes in real time and providers sometimes update prices faster than we can reflect them.

Where a price shown at search was wrong because of a provider or system error, we will tell you the correct price before you pay. You are never charged an amount other than the one you confirmed at checkout.

  • You must be 18 or over and have the legal capacity to enter a contract to book through WeCompare.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of what you give us — dates, vehicle registration, contact details — because providers use it to fulfil your booking.

§ 03Making a booking

When you complete a booking and receive confirmation from us, you have a contract with the provider for the parking service, and a separate arrangement with WeCompare as the booking agent that took your payment and will support you if something goes wrong.

Your confirmation email is your proof of purchase. Keep it, and bring the reference number when you arrive at the car park. Some providers also require photo ID matching the booking name.

§ 04Prices and payment

Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. The total shown at checkout is the total you pay — we add no booking fee and no card surcharge on top of the displayed price.

Payment is taken in full at the time of booking through our payment processor. We do not store full card details; the processor handles that under its own PCI DSS obligations.

§ 05Booking confirmation

A booking is confirmed once payment has been taken and a confirmation voucher has been issued. A product appearing in search results is not a confirmed booking. Check the airport, dates, times and vehicle details on your confirmation as soon as it arrives and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.

§ 06Changes and cancellations

How and when you can amend or cancel, and what is refunded, is set out in the cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.

In short: flexible fares, the default on most products, can be changed or cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before your drop-off time, with a free-cancellation window of 24 hours from booking regardless. Non-flexible fares are labelled as such and cost less up front in exchange for less flexibility.

Leisure services of this kind are exempt from the statutory 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, so the rights above are contractual rather than statutory.

§ 07Price Promise

Bookings at Bristol, Glasgow, Luton and Manchester are covered by our Price Promise refund, subject to the clauses published on the Price Promise page (reference PM-01).

It covers park & ride and meet & greet products only, and only where the competing operator holds Park Mark accreditation or is an established UK airport parking operator rated 4.5 or above on Trustpilot. It does not apply to on-airport parking, or to bookings at any other airport, however that might be described elsewhere on the site.

§ 08Your responsibilities

  • Arrive and depart within the dates and times you booked. Most providers charge an additional-day rate for late collection outside a flight-delay adjustment.
  • Give an accurate vehicle registration. Many sites use automatic number plate recognition and a mismatch can stop you getting in or out.
  • Follow the provider’s own site rules — drop-off location, terminal transfer point, shuttle timings — as set out on your confirmation.
  • Allow enough time. You are responsible for arriving with sufficient margin for the transfer and for telling the provider if you are delayed.

§ 09Vehicle condition and valuables

Remove valuables and personal belongings before handing your vehicle over. Once the vehicle is with the provider, any claim relating to its condition, contents or handling falls under that provider’s terms and insurance. Record the mileage and condition at drop-off if you want a reference point.

§ 10Providers

We list providers that hold public liability insurance and, for meet & greet, motor trade insurance covering the movement of customer vehicles. Park Mark accreditation or a strong independent review record is the standard for listing. We review this on an ongoing basis and remove providers that fall below it.

§ 11Complaints

Raise a complaint with us within 24 hours of your return where that is practical, by email to info@wecompareparking.com or by phone on 0333 5678 678. Complaints about the parking service itself are passed to the provider, who holds the contract for it; we will track the matter with you until it is resolved.

§ 12Airport charges and clean air zones

Charges levied by an airport or local authority rather than by the provider remain your responsibility. That includes Heathrow’s ULEZ, drop-off charges and any clean air zone your vehicle passes through, whether you drive the vehicle yourself or a meet & greet driver does.

§ 13Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: no interference with its operation, no unauthorised copying of content or pricing data, no false information, and no use for fraudulent purposes. We may refuse or cancel bookings that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent.

§ 14Liability

We are responsible for our own performance as booking agent — processing your booking correctly, taking the right payment and passing accurate details to the provider. We are not liable for the performance of the independent providers, hotels, airlines or rental suppliers whose services you buy through the site.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under English law. We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control, including weather, airport closures, industrial action and airline decisions.

§ 15Privacy

Personal data is processed in line with our privacy policy and our cookie policy.

§ 16Changes to these terms

We update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you booked is the version that governs that booking. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms for future bookings.

§ 17Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your home nation.
